Dr. Tan Chee Choong brings with him more than 20 years of clinical experience. Tracing back, Dr. Tan attained his basic degree of medicine, the MBBS from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, India. The year was 1996. In addition, Dr. Tan also possesses a Masters in Public Health from Universiti Malaya as well as a Licentiateship Fellowship in Occupational Health (LFOM) from the Ireland.
Dr. Tan had served in Universiti Hospital, Petaling Jaya and Hospital Bahagia in Kuching during his early days of Housemanship. Though overworked, it is a period that filled him with much pleasant memory and joy.
Dr. Tan is also a Restorative Medicine Practitioner for the last five years. He is a strong advocate when it comes to the use of the natural bio-identical hormone and had since built quite a sizable follower among his patients. He constantly advocates the importance of patient-education and empowerment by using simple protocols that work and doing away with unnecessary, often very expensive diagnostic tests. His aim is always to restore patients to ultimate health using the best of his knowledge honed in the field of Restorative Medicine, often times away from the confines of mainstream medicine. And that’s exactly how he built a reputation of a kind, caring and unconventional practitioner in the area of healthy aging.
Dr. Tan and his family lives in Kuala Lumpur. His wife assists him in the GP and Restorative Medicine Clinic as a Clinic Manager. They adore their ten year-old son, along with their two cats.
